It should be noted that this document only communicates information where Melbourne Water's standards differ from the published Australian Standards. Changes to a number of the published Australian Standards referred to Section 6.0 were made in November 2009 and are summarised here (PDF, 30kb).
The Contractor must keep a copy of relevant Australian Standards, specifications, and drawings on site at all times. This Specification must be read in conjunction with General Conditions of Contract AS 2124-1992.
