7.4 Service of Notice
Notice to property owners
Before conducting survey works on a property, the Owner must ensure that the property occupier is given at least three working days notice.
If the Works extend beyond the boundary of the site, notice must also be given to the adjacent owner or occupier.
Notice to the contractor
The Surveyor must liaise with the Contractor to ensure that:
- The 'as constructed' detail is recorded as the Works proceed
- Collection of the 'as constructed' information complies with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Record of notices
The Surveyor must retain copies of all notices for audit purposes.
